Tessellated Poncho Crochet Kit

Tessellation is a tiling technique that uses geometric shapes to cover a surface. The Tessellated Poncho uses this approach to create a unique garment construction. Worked flat and modularly starting with a textured, mitered square centerpiece, picked-up stitches along edges are used to create a series of mitered squares stretching out from its two sides. Once complete and blocked, the two side panels are seamed in the back (just the one seam!). The Tessellated Poncho features full coverage of the front of the torso and upper back without any bulk around the waist to encumber movement. This pattern was designed by Rosalie's Daughter.
