Marled Alaska Cowl
Marled Alaska is a tapered cowl, knit in the round and inside out. Yup! Inside out - though many prefer the outside in - so this could be called a reversible cowl. By holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together, a squishy DK weight marled
fabric is created. It’s a great way to use that super special skein of fingering we brought home and snuggled in our stash long ago, or perhaps the one that is begging to come home with us now.
In the cowl pictured I used Denali in Fingering but you can use whatever variegated sock yarn that makes you happy. Even a solid if you want! (Although it won't be marled.)
