Bad Sheep Yarn strives to represent the true colors of our yarn in the photos we post. We also work hard to make sure that larger orders are in the same color batch. In spite of all this, please keep in mind when ordering that each batch is done by human hands; and that some computer monitors have different light settings. Our ultimate goal is to create something beautiful, as close to the photo as we can, just for you.
Oh I just could not resist ordering this color as lupines are one of my favorite flowers
This yarn is gorgeous. My 3 year old granddaughter was here when my package arrived. She was so excited when I opened it and exclaimed "Yarn! So pretty grandma!" I'm teaching her to recognize quality and she already knows good yarn is to be treasured. Love this yarn.
I finally got through with my Wild Blueberry projects and have started on my Wild in Wyoming crochet quilt. (I made that name up). I'm using DK weight because I don't want this to be too heavy. First block is a flower square using Lupine and it is so magnificent and beautiful and reminds me of the wildflowers up in the mountain where I ride my horse in the short summers. The yarn is soft and the colors true to the photos and they totally remind me of lupine, which grows abundantly at the higher elevations. Thank you for this gorgeous yarn.
Since the lupine is my favorite flower, I had to have this. The colors are gorgeous. I will definitely be back to order others.
Lupine is one of my favorite flowers and this yarn covers all the colors of the flower. Love the colors and the texture is awesome and the yarn smells wonderful as the dyer washes them with soap as a last step. This is a dyer that is meticulous in her attention to detail.
I live in the mountains of western Wyoming where lupine is abundant in the summer. It is one of my favorite flowers and this yarn is so gorgeous. I bought it to make something for someone else, but I changed my mind and am making a lap blanket for myself for the very long and dark winters we get here. It will remind me of summer to come. Customer service with this company is outstanding.
So I just did a pattern modification of a cowl and a hat in DK weight( held double) and fingering for the hat. It was squishy, soft, warm as I held it on my lap….so much to say. This colorway took me to my walks in my backyard and around my neighborhood because there are so many colors of lupine in their yard. I’m not sure if lupine is native to Fairbanks but the colorway is sooo amazing it makes me think of flowers in Fairbanks. The hues of yellow, purple, blue and pink are just tremendously well down. Okay I just wanted to add that when I tried on the finished items - it was just so soft on the skin and hair. Another job well done…thank you!!
