Pattern Details:
Keep calm on those spooky Socktober nights with the rhythm of a fun, beginner-friendly knit. The Spindle & Spell socks feature spiraling cables that evoke wisps of steam and flickering flames beneath a bubbling cauldron.

Knit from the cuff down, these socks feature a heel flap and double gusset for a comfortable, contoured fit. Settle in, find your rhythm, and watch the cables wind their way toward your toes.

This pattern includes instructions for two sizes.

Needle Recommendations: 
US 1.5 (2.5 mm), 9" circular needles, dpns or circular needles with a cable long enough for Magic Loop technique

Gauge Recommendation:
32 stitches and 40 rows = 4" [10 cm] in pattern st, flat and blocked

Skills Required:
Kniting front to back, increases decreases, knitting flat, lace

Sizes:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)

Circumference:
6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10.5)”

Lace socks should be knit with negative ease. Select the size sock that is 10-20% smaller than your measurements.

Bad Sheep Yarn - Fingering Weight; 75/25 Superwash Merino & Nylon (462 yds/100 g skein).
