Seashells Resonance pairs a simple Lace Shell motif with a garter-stitch background for a clean, textured, easy-to-wear knit top. Inspired by the stillness of the shoreline and the beauty of shells along the sand, this design brings a soft, sea-soaked feel to an everyday handmade piece.

Designed for advanced beginners and beyond, SeashellsResonance is knit from the bottom up and uses simple increases and decreases to create the lace section. The shoulders are finished with a tidy three-needle bind-off, and the pattern includes directions for short rows and bust darts to help refine the fit.

This close-fitting top is designed to be worn with zero to slight negative ease and includes instructions for both cropped and full-length versions.

Needle Recommendations:
US 4/3.5 mm, 32 inch/80 cm circular needles
US 2.5/3 mm, 32 inch/80 cm circular needles + dpns or longer circular needle for Magic Loop method.

Gauge Recommendation:
21 sts and 30 rounds over 4" | 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with US 4 needles, after blocking.
23 sts and 31 rounds over 4 " | 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with US 2.5 needles, after blocking.

Skills Required:
Three needle bind off, working in the round, short rows, knitting in the back loop, increasing & decreasing

Choose the size with a Chest Circumference measurement that includes approximately 0-1 inch / 0-2.5 cm of negative ease.
