Bad Sheep Yarn's 2025 Winter Solstice Advent Box is an exclusive mystery yarn box filled with the magic of winter and the journey from darkness to light. It's covered with beautiful art made especially for this box and the yarn inside; a sweeping snowy landscape and a magical traveler heading home to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
Although the exact contents of this box is a mystery, here are some hints as to what you'll find inside:
- 24 hand-dyed fingering-weight mini skeins made very specifically for the pattern inside. The box art and our color palette photo show you the color scheme. All yarn is exclusive to this box. It will never be recreated, no matter how much we love it.

What is an advent? An advent is traditionally a collection of gifts to open every day leading up to a special event. Each gift is numbered. On December 1st, we open gift one and the pattern... December 2nd we open gift 2... and so on, and so on. Finally on December 24th, we open the final gift as we cozy in for the holiday.
Some people open everything right away, some people don't start their project until they're ready, some people make an entirely different pattern with their yarn. It's your gift to you, and none of us are going judge you if you go against the flow. We do ask that all social media posts (spoilers) be saved until the day of opening. If you're a part of our Facebook Community Group, we always have a post for spoilers so you can spill the beans if you want.
