The yarn I received was not at all as shown in your photo. I am very disappointed to say the least. I realize that colors may vary somewhat however not to this extent. I received two skeins that I will NEVER use. I was quite happy with my previous purchase but this yarn is dark and dingy and just terrible. Dark Woods indeed!!!

I love ALL of the yarns I’ve bought from Bad Sheep Yarn. I first found these yarns at a trunk show in a MA yarn shop—then had to visit the web site to see more. I’m knitting fingerless gloves, supporting a Ukrainian maker (Granat (cabled mitts) by Irina Dmitrieva on Ravelry). The worsted weight yarn is beautifully soft and shows off the cabled pattern marvelously. I am biased since I have been knitting with Bad Sheep Yarns (fingering & DK weights)—they are dreamy! ❤️

First time buyer. Loved the colors on the website so ordered 4 different in fingering and sock. Just got them. Still love colors but have not started to knit them yet. Will keep you posted.

This Dark Woods is AWESOME - I'm currently crocheting with it in a Mistletoe shawl that's turning into a X-mas themed with the colors I'm using. Love the colors and the texture is awesome and the yarn smells wonderful as the dyer washes them with soap as a last step. This is a dyer that is meticulous in her attention to detail.

This colorway takes me back into the woods where the sunlight barely peeks through the treetops, the place where the forest floor is undisturbed, the place where deer sleep and owls call from the trees. It's beautiful!!!

This is an overall dark colorway (hence the title) with exciting pops of color - reminds me of looking through the trees as the sun sets on the App trial. The yarn quality is also fantastic.

I got this yarn in fingering weight to make a scarf for my husband. I thought it would be pretty from the pictures, but it is so much better in person. I love the pops of blues and oranges in this yarn. My husband can’t wait to see what I make with this. I’ve made a couple of shawls with other colors from Bad Sheep and have love the results so i expect this will turn out beautifully as well.
