Set your alarms! Our next Flopsy sale is October 20th, 2024. If this is your first time joining the Bad Sheep Yarn Flopsy sale, there are a few things you should know. These sales have a limited supply and things go very fast. 

What’s a Flopsy?
At Bad Sheep Yarn, “Flopsy” skeins are those with small quirks: they might be test batches, have slight dye issues, or perhaps there’s a tiny imperfection like a loose thread that a quick fix can handle. These skeins may not be exactly up to our usual standards, but they’re still beautiful, usable, and offered at a discounted rate!

Flopsy Sale 2024 – Date & Time:
Our Flopsy page goes live on Sunday, October 20th, 2024 at the following times:

• 2 pm ALASKA TIME
• 3 pm PACIFIC TIME
• 4 pm MOUNTAIN TIME
• 5 pm CENTRAL TIME
• 6 pm EASTERN TIME

What You’ll Find in the Sale:
This one will be very similar to the last Flopsy sale we had earlier this year. The only difference is that Flopsy yarn will only come in packs of three, and there won’t be any single available. You can browse by color palette and yarn weight, but beyond that, it’s a bit of a surprise! Here are a few of the options:

• Samesies

(Example: Three skeins of the Blue Palette with the same weight and colorway)

Available palettes: Grey/Blacks, Blues, Yellows, Oranges, Pinks/Reds, and Greens.

• Matchy-Matchy

(Example: Brown Palette – same weight, different colorways)

Available palettes: Purples, Pinks/Reds, Neutrals/Browns, Greens, and Blues.

• Stash Builders - Wild Card!

This is the ultimate mystery pack! Each skein has the same weight but a different colorway, making for a unique and fun mix. We’ll also have Mini Stash Builder packs with five mini skeins, all in the same weight.

• Closeouts

(Example: Muse, Pretty Pumpking Princess, etc) 

These are leftover limited or discontinued colorways that we still having hanging around and need to clear out. These are not Flopsy skeins and have no dye or color issues. We have very limited quantities, so these will not be from the same dye lot, but we will try to match colors as closely as possible if you purchase multiples in the same weight. 

Rules of Engagement:
As with all our Flopsy Sales, there are no returns or exchanges, and once a color palette sells out, it’s gone for good. Since these are clearance skeins, we recommend alternating skeins if you’re using them for larger projects to ensure an even look.

Important Notes:
• We aren’t combining shipments for Flopsy Sale orders.
• All customer service emails about the sale will be answered on Monday, March 4th.
• To avoid missing out, try to check out quickly once you’ve hit the $100 mark for free shipping. Rewards points can be used for Flopsy skeins, so be sure to take advantage of those.
