Lovely Colors and Squishiness off the charts
Written by Bevy on Jan 11th 2022

This Wild Iris is awesome! This yarn reminds me of my years in Alaska during the summer and the Blue Flag Iris which grew there in the wild or my yard. Love the colors and the texture is awesome and the yarn smells wonderful as the dyer washes them with soap as a last step. This is a dyer that is meticulous in her attention to detail.

Wild Iris…. Tangles
Written by Connie Caruso on Dec 4th 2021

Lovely color…as advertised. Wound this morning….sad there was only ONE tie on the hank…..last 15 g I had to hand wind due all the tangles. Hope this isn’t your typical, as I buy a lot of yarn, and was excited to see all your wonderful colors. I have found 3 ties seem to be standard. Maybe this was a fluke, but it was a mess. But it’s wound, now to knit. Thx!!!

Looks like a field in summer
Written by Kiska on Aug 13th 2020

I was going between this and Lupine, but let's be honest I'll just end up getting Lupine too at some point. My only wish is that it had more of the rich dark purple as our Alaskan fields of iris here in Southeast lean to the more dark purple side. I am excited to mix this in with some Grizzly and Sitka Spruce, Denali will look nice too with the speckles of blue.
