I saw a friend knitting with this on Instagram and it was beautiful - I'm looking forward to knitting with it!
Fox is part of the Deep Woods Collection. This colorway is brown, copper, orange, and blue/black melded together. This colorway has been used for sweaters, shawls, mittens, and more.
Basic Sock: 75/25 Superwash Merino & Nylon; 462 Yards; 100 grams.
Basic Sock is our super strong, low pill sock weight yarn. This is your standard daily wear sock yarn.
Basic DK: 75/25 Superwash Merino & Nylon; 245 Yards; 100 grams.
A super strong, low pill, DK base. Perfect for sweaters and accessories and blankets.
Suri Fluff Lace: 74/26 Baby Suri Alpaca & Silk; 328 yards; 50 grams
As soft and fluffy as duck down, our suri fluff lace weight yarn is perfect for light weight sweaters and make finished projects extra soft with a small halo when held double with our Basic Sock or Basic DK yarns.
Bulky: 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 109 Yards; 100 Grams.
So soft, fluffy, and squishy, this 2 ply bulky yarn is made of dreams.
Although most of our bases are superwash wool, I recomend that all finished projects are hand washed and layed flat to dry.
Bad Sheep Yarn strives to represent the true colors of our yarn in the photos we post. Please keep in mind when ordering that some computer monitors have different light settings.
So, I’m pairing this with fingering weight BSY in the Sunflower colorway to make a sweater. And I love it. I love how well they complement each other. The main color of Fox is amazing, especially paired with the cheery and rich yellow of Sunflower. But the changes to steel blue and back again really makes this sweater a work of art. I can’t wait to finish and wear it! I should point out that I worked up a swatch of both colors together before I started, and there wasn’t any bleeding over after it was washed and blocked.
I purchased Fox, Sockeye Salmon and Rose Gold and they are PERFECT together. As always your photos are very good representations of the yarn colors.
