Bad Sheep Yarn strives to represent the true colors of our yarn in the photos we post. We also work hard to make sure that larger orders are in the same color batch. In spite of all this, please keep in mind when ordering that each batch is done by human hands; and that some computer monitors have different light settings. Our ultimate goal is to create something beautiful, as close to the photo as we can, just for you.

Beautiful!

The color is stunning but I was expecting more of that beautiful blue variation in the fingering weight yarn. It’s very nicely produced and works up to a lovely sock.

Fab!

I fell in love with this color wave - cannot wait to see how it works up - the black is so inky and the cream is pure. Plan to make the Cirro shawl with this - excited! The yarn is very smooth, hoping it stays that way as it is worked.

I absolutely love the starkness of this yarn. I haven't knitted anything yet but I look forward to doing so.

Love this color. I made a beautiful hat for my sister. Her yarns are a dream to knit with.

Exactly as pictured with mounds of snow white with occasional flicks of color, bands of black hinting with blues and greens, and stretches of coppery goodness. Great for pairing with BonBon and Kennicott.

Marled Alaska Cowl & Chinook Yarn
Written by Ellen Todd on Sep 13th 2022

This was my first purchase from BSY so it seemed smart to start with a one-skein project. I put aside another project as soon as this yarn arrived. I'm enjoying working with the Chinook Fingering yarn - it knits up beautifully and I love the little bits of surprise color. I knew it would be natural white with sections of black and of a burnt sienna - sort of calico cat colors. I was not expected that touches of deep green and bright blue. They add a subtle and delightful touch. This yarn feels wonderfully soft - perfect for something worn against the neck.

Gorgeous yarn! Just like your description of bulky yarn states; “made of dreams”. Glides easily on my crochet hook, with beautiful results! Highly recommend and will shop again here soon!

Received my yarn and love it. I have no idea what I’m going to make, I just wanted to order to see what your yarn was all about. I’m looking forward to figuring out what to make and ordering again soon. I think I’m a yarnaholic. Thank you so much. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday nights. I live in California but moving back to Pennsylvania one of these days. Thanks to all who have a part in producing this beautiful yarn
