Fox is part of the Deep Woods Collection. This colorway is brown, copper, orange, and blue/black melded together. This colorway has been used for sweaters, shawls, mittens, and more.

Basic Sock: 75/25 Superwash Merino & Nylon; 462 Yards; 100 grams.
Basic Sock is our super strong, low pill sock weight yarn. This is your standard daily wear sock yarn.

Basic DK: 75/25 Superwash Merino & Nylon; 245 Yards; 100 grams.
A super strong, low pill, DK base. Perfect for sweaters and accessories and blankets.

Bulky: 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 106 Yards; 100 Grams.
So soft and silky bulky weight, this 2 ply bulky yarn is made of dreams and great for beginners.
*We have recently changed our bulky weight base. The photos are of our older base. The newer base has tighter plies and is not as lofty as pictured.*

Although most of our bases are superwash wool, I recomend that all finished projects are hand washed and layed flat to dry.
Bad Sheep Yarn strives to represent the true colors of our yarn in the photos we post. Please keep in mind when ordering that some computer monitors have different light settings.

Butterfly

This is my first purchase from Bad Sheep, and I love it! Beautiful colors in tones that I seem to go to. Starting a smaller shawl, working up nicely.

Beautiful in the skein - very different when knitted.

I ordered Butterfly in 2020 (as a disclaimer - the photos in the current listing may not be from the same batch). The photos on the site are so lovely, and I also thought the yarn was pretty when it arrived in the skein, though it was quite different- lots more white, blues few and far between, and altogether a lot more orange-y than I was anticipating (rather than the burnt orange, ochre color pictured). Knitted, I don't like how it looks at all. This is precisely why I REALLY appreciate that the site's newer listings include pictures of knitted and crocheted swatches - it's a huge help when it comes to visualizing how the skein's colors will play out.
