The fluff is incredibly soft, and I personally think more attractive than the pictures! I bought this for my man to make an alpaca minimalist hat, and doing double I think the yarn will work in the lace weight to make a sturdy hat to easily fit under helmets and keep in stuff-it backpack pockets for colder Alaskan days.
